Devon Rodriguez, a New York based American artist, sketches strangers on the New York subway, capturing their reactions and sharing them on social media.

Since 2020, the 27 year old has gained 32 million followers on TikTok and 5.8 million on Instagram with his viral videos and has sketched famous faces including President Joe Biden, Robert De Niro, Dwayne Johnson and Steve Cohen. After graduating from New York’s High School of Art and Design, Rodriguez was a finalist in the Outwin Boochever Portrait Competition at the Smithsonian National Portrait Gallery in 2019 and opened his first solo exhibition at UTA Artist Space’s pop-up gallery in New York in September.
